Someone says that “Hope is a
thing with feathers”. It flies away to anywhere it wishes. It can’t stay at one
place for long. It goes and goes until it is out from our sight. Is that true?
I don’t know. Maybe you have
different interpretations about that. But, for the little girl, she thinks it
that way. She knows for sure that her hope is nothing. It flies away and could
never be reached.
The little girl tried to find
the melody that once saved her life. She was back to the woods again eventhough
she still feared it. She knew she made a mistake by doing it. Yet, she coud not
help herself. She was curious about who was the owner of that sweet rhythm.
In the middle of the way,
she couldn’t find the right path. She was lost in the dark forest by herself. All
around her was dark wood with its wild quietness. The gigantic trees stood tall
majestically. Their canopies covered the surface with their shadows. She walked
and walked through the autumn foliage but still couldn’t find the way out. Again,
she fell for the same hole.
She knew she was so dumb,
believing she would meet him. Overhoping she would at least be able to thank
him. She regretted her decision. It was too late for that. Night was slowly
engulfing the earth.
Out of the blue, she found
Polaris looked at her. She tried to follow it. She was relieved and happy.
Finally, she found her hope. She knew she had a chance to make it out from her
nightmare. Then, the sky grew darker and the lights went out. The little girl
was shocked. She lost her only light. They left her blind in the middle of the
woods. They left her with nothing but fear and sadness.
The little girl lost
everything even a spec of a light. She did not know what to do anymore. She was
there standing by herself with her watery eyes and sore throat. Once, she was
out of the woods because a song led her out. She hoped to find that melody
again but all she got was darkness. Now, she had nothing but a wishful
thinking. Would she be saved the same way? Would that melody come for her?
I don’t know... I’m
overhoping too much...
